Born into this world thinking everything was free
Every day and night passed with such careless ease
But even easy living has to eventually cease
Reached a point in time with two paths in front of me
Picked a path with iron doors and gates of ivory
Walked in thinking nothing changed or so I did believe
But then I caught a glimpse of where the path would really lead
Standing towards the leather desk with foods I've never seen
Teeth of pearly white sink into flesh of unknown beasts
Each unsavory bite destroys a future that could be
But I am not as hungry as these creatures want of me
Forcing me to take a bite, risk my humanity
Surrounded by the best or so they do decree
I'm eyeing for the exit because I just want to leave
But it's too late to turn around and live my life in peace
Why should I resist when I'm already in the feast?
